Cyprus, the Island that lies at the farthest Eastern end of the Mediterranean sea; the Island that is the legendary birthplace of the goddess of love, Aphrodite; the Island that is home to an 8000 year old civilisation at Choirokoiti near the modern commercial port of Limassol and also an Island full of Internationally renowned Heritage sites. One of the most spectacular archaeological sites on the island is the ancient site known as The Kourion. Originally built in the 2nd century B.C., Kourion’s awe - inspiring theatre is now fully restored and used for musical and theatrical performances annually.

Every year, in June, a production of one of Shakespeare’s plays is performed by local amateur actors for the benefit of the Cypriot and every growing ex-pat communities that chose to make Cyprus their home, with all profits going to local charities.
